In January 2018 , All Souls Church established a Memorial Garden on its property for the returning of ashes of members of All Souls, their spouses, and members of their immediate families and to honor them by placing a memorial inscription on the monument.
Internment is the ritual of placing the cremains directly (without any urn, box or other receptacle) into the common ground in the garden area.
The garden was established as a memorial to Patricia Stricklin Smith from contributions from family and friends.
